The value of travel

Although our teachers can give our students some wonderful classroom experiences and great lessons, nothing can compare with seeing and learning in a completely different environment.  Over the next few days we have three groups from RSB travelling to three very different locations.

Two teachers will be representing the RSB Student Council in Malawi and helping build a new school as part of our Dubai Cares project.  We wish Mr Keir Dowswell and Mrs June Booth a very successful and rewarding trip.

We have a group of our Year 11 students travelling to Dartmoor, in the SW of England, as part of their Geography GCSE course.  This annual trip is a wonderful way to study geography and it is a challenging and exciting opportunity for our students.

Finally, a group of our Year 12 AS Art students are off to Italy for an artistic adventure of a lifetime.  They will be taking part in art workshops and studying some of the world's greatest artists in Rome and Florence.

We look forward to hearing back from all three groups on their return and we wish them all a safe and enjoyable journey.
